Executed in thick, colorless crystal, the vase is decorated with regular bubbles and ribs formed by vertical segments.

Founded in 1295, Barovier & Toso is one of the world’s oldest family-run businesses and among the most historic names in Venetian glass. Its creations are handcrafted in Murano, preserving a glassmaking tradition spanning more than 700 years and 20 generations.
Ercole Barovier (1889–1974) was an Italian designer, entrepreneur, and one of the most influential figures in 20th-century Murano glass. A member of the historic Barovier family, he joined the family glassworks in the early 20th century and became its artistic director in 1926.
Throughout his career, Barovier was deeply engaged in the development of innovative glassmaking techniques and materials. His experimentation with color, texture, murrine, and surface effects introduced a distinctly modern and expressive language to Murano glass. Among his most celebrated series are Primavera, Lenti, Rostrato, and Segmentati.
Barovier continued as the company’s artistic director until 1972, overseeing its artistic development for much of the 20th century.
